Saying SCOTUS is 'reluctant to constrain the imperial presidency' presupposes that the majority doesn't want an an all-powerful president... at least when it's the president is a right-wing, pro-oligarch christian nationalist like Trump.

-That we're paid by George Soros.
-That we hate America.
-We just normal Americans who love our country.
If you disagree what Trump and the GOP are doing to America, please find a local rally and attend.
If you agree with Trump, you can do that without falling for the Fox news propaganda calling us terrorists, communists, paid agitators, etc. Yes, Trump won a very close election, but that doesn't make it right for him to declare war on 50% of America.

Any analysis that doesn't put the right-wing media ecosystem front-and-center is fundamentally flawed. A large percentage of voters believe things that just plain lies. Lies about the economy, lies about immigrants, lies about science, lies about history, lies about policy....

Coney Barrett's response was disingenuous. Nobody expects them to write an opinion on case SCOTUS will eventually need to decide. But, we do expect them to explain their reasoning when they toss aside the careful work done my lower courts, especially when doing so has such devastating results.
