Anything except prices, right? 😅
I know it sounds techbro cringe. I'd rather med staff just have the time and resources to communicate effectively. But sadly that feels more pie-in-the-sky than an LLM-driven solution for America.
Between rural-living parents (one with a nursing degree) and siblings in minority-heavy Texan suburb, there has been subpar care.

Now is the solution to this FB Groups? No probably not. I actually think this is an area LLM's can assist patients in understanding options and help providers.
Easy when the outcomes are good and you're in an area chock-full of top-tier doctors and well-funded health systems like RTP is.

I recognize the FB group thing is an awful thing, but, as usual, the real optimality lies somewhere between bootie-licking medical staff and being frothy naturopathic.

Remember when the head of the cop union in Chicago promised "800-1000" cops would quit if Brandon Johnson won and it was actually six, all of whom were "quitting" by taking a lucrative early retirement.
The essence of Bari Weiss: not reporting, but crude partisan propaganda presented in the form of reporting—and usually pronounced from the mouths of anonymous sources which likely don't exist. Expect this sort of prolefeed at CBS News soon.

The key divide in the Democratic Party during Trump II is between people who want to turn the clock back to 2014 and people who recognize a clean break with the past when they see one. "Let's get back to the way things were" isn't a viable vision for the future and some people have no other.
That our current system was unable to prevent this is a sign it probably should not recover
Weird, I was under the impression Politico was some ultra-left-wing-rag according to this current admin. Why did they only interview think tankers aligned with the admin about the legal viability?
Bro, we're literally behind screens on Bluesky right now, what is this rhetoric lmao
How do you see state national guard stopping federal law enforcement? What crime do they arrest CBP/ICE Officials for? I also want things to be different, but this ain't it.

* TRUMP TO U.S. MILITARY LEADERS: WE'RE UNDER INVASION FROM WITHIN

@reuters.com
I wonder if SCOTUS will ever take up the issue that simultaneously allowing CBP united jurisdiction over the border buffer zone and having no restrictions on militarization logically ends with domestic military rule?

I guess the framers didn't say no, so...
fast-follower thought: A friend I discussed this with offered up that, and this applies broadly beyond political silos, if you are a victim then you can be freed from responsibility. There's a 'safety blanket' of victimhood you get to wrap yourself up in when facing criticism. Perhaps that's it?
to be scared. They want to not live their boring, safe lives. Or they want to justify the things they want the government to do despite knowing that it's a sign of a failed society. Or maybe not.

Like I said, accepting all deep-dive recommendations, particularly on the psychology aspect.
for conservatives to turn what is normal, even 'historically good', into the worst thing ever. Violent crime at decades-level lows, but an illegal immigrant killed a white runner. A sane view is that this doesn't justify civil rights violations en masse. But I legitimately think these people *want*
Peripheral thought: Is this elevation of Charlie Kirk (state-sponsored funeral) not just par for the course in that conservatives have to manufacture disasters?

Honestly looking for any resources that examine the phenomenon. Ed has written about the politics of boredom, but there's a very real need
To be clear, not advocating for violent leftism from either wing. Just saying the notion of leftism being most violence ignores history.

Also not sure about Cato's methodology but ADL frequently classifies African Nationalism as "left" and that was the majority of their extremist killings.
An entire generation of radical thought silenced. But evidently we can't do that with the right because Third Way focus groups says suburbanites in Cincinnati would be uncomfortable about it.
I was remarking lately that people really don't appreciate how the US purged the nation of militant leftism for [at least] two decades during the cold war.

“We can mourn Charlie Kirk. We can send prayers to his friends and family,” writes our columnist Jamelle Bouie. “We can — and should — do all of this and more without pretending he was something, as a public figure, that he was not.”

I refuse to deplore "political violence" when it is made so explicit that it is the adjective, not the noun, that troubles the people so openly weeping and rending their garments right now. Either we all have a ticket in the Victim of Gun Violence Lotto or none of us do.
