Just discovered an amazing photo. Pictured is Capt. Kevin Corcoran, CO C/1/5 1st Cav Div working his radios in South Vietnam at some point in the first half of 1968. Photo was taken by a fellow soldier, Dean Sharp. You can feel the weight of command on his face. Some may identify with that look.

A group of active-duty members of the Ukrainian armed forces crossed the finish line at the 50th Marine Corps Marathon.

Another of their brothers in arms was supposed to run, but he recently died in combat. The Ukraine defenders ran in his honor, getting him across the finish line in spirit.

Robert Stillman Garcia may have gone missing in action during the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941, but his legacy of service held strong in his family during the eight decades it took for him to return home.

Garcia was laid to rest in Texas this week after his remains were identified earlier this year.
