Today I learned that stalking a 17 year old girl, writing up a 400 page 'dossier' about her, falsely reporting her to the police and smashing her phone does not constitute 'harassment'.

One wonders what *would*.

Already seeing prominent journalists on this site ignore this warning.

I’m telling y’all: follow reporters, not influencers.
PSA: There are some accounts on here that are essentially religion news *influencers,* meaning they pump out viral posts that contain information that is *sometimes* accurate, sometimes *partially* accurate, sometimes purely speculative, and sometimes just…false.

The @nplusonemag.com Bookmatch quiz is, indeed, great fun... see example shared below. And every year, the "matches" have suggested books I would never otherwise see or somehow missed. Haven't read all, but found some new favorites. Enjoy the quiz by Dec and the books for the long term.
the annual @nplusonemag.com Bookmatch makes me laugh SO hard that a top reward tier should simply be a recommending something equally as funny

DC's CM Brooke Pinto, candidate for Cong. Delegate, is telling candidate forum that youth curfew and other attacks on youth rights are the "backbone" of protecting DC's sovereignty by showing federal administration that DC deserves to govern itself. Using youth lives to buy cooperation!

Is it my imagination, or is the music we're hearing on hold with Governor Stitt's office, 405-521-2342 -- trying to get the governor to honor the clemency recommendation of his own Parole and Pardon's board -- Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"?

The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board believes that Tremane Wood shouldn't be put to death, yet the state is planning to execute him very soon. There's still time, Governor Stitt, to honor the recommendation of your own board!

I've updated the third-country removal tracker to add 19 migrants sent to Ghana on Nov. 6.

Trump has now sent at least 91 migrants to African prisons.

I haven't confirmed yet if the ICE flight to Liberia last week carried third-country nationals.

this morning, ICE went into a Spanish language immersion daycare and took a teacher from the building in front of screaming and crying kids and parents at dropoff and the daycare had to shut down for the day (near Lane Tech, where they were yesterday). "Condé was content to hold Teen Vogue up as a prop for diversity, youth representation and progressive ideals when it benefited it, and then to unceremoniously discard the entire publication with a disingenuous press release when the winds shifted." Such a disaster and shame.
if you want to know what happened to Teen Vogue yesterday, my work wife @allegrak.bsky.social — who ran our politics section for 6 years until this past June — said it all in this.

can't even pull out a favorite part til I sign my separation letter lol, just read the whole thing.
