Made that bisexual lowfi dating sim. No, the other one.

Watches too many horror flicks.
I hate giving games out of ten scores as a practice but I love how, within my circle of friends, "7/10 game" has become shorthand for "much of this is either average or not very good, but it does one or two things so phenomenally you have to physically remove the controller from my hand."

How many movies in a subgenre do you think you need to watch before you're qualified to start a podcast about it?

A frustratingly under discussed aspect of the whole Horses fiasco is that every other month a movie with far more taboo content releases in theaters to zero controversy.
It would unquestionably be a better world if we could assume that the group making the call about Horses had seen and could discuss Un Chien Andalou and The Exterminating Angel, at the very least

I met Ken Levine in line at a concert, seemed like we were going to be there for a while so I told him I really enjoyed Bioshock. He said "Oh let me guess, you hated Infinite?" and I said no, I liked it and he went "Oh so Bioshock 2 just fucking sucks?" I was pretty sure that one wasn't even his.
i know we talk a lot about misinformation and stuff these days but it’s actually okay to make up bad stuff about ken levine. One time i saw him grab the groceries out of a lady’s car in the parking lot of a grocery store then he drove to the ocean and threw them in the ocean.

I've been able to get people to switch to Tidal with four very simple points:
1) Pays the musicians significantly more
2) Better audio quality
3) Doesn't run ICE ads
4) A dollar cheaper a month
it's not SO hard to get off spotify... and however hard it is now, it'll be harder in another year or two. I mean, no consumption is ethical etc, but there are definitely viable alternatives. I find everything just fine on Tidal and they apparently pay musicians an average of ~4x more. just sayin.

I don't have seasonal depression, there's just a few months a year where I'm tired and have no motivation and only watch sitcoms I've rewatched so many times I've started to hate them

Knew a guy in high school whose full name was Richard Stroker Jr. That's right, a dude went through his whole like as Dick Stroker and went "time to inflict the same fate on my firstborn."
I was in the weeds and having an awful day as a server circa 2004 when my coworker said, "Hey, man. You gotta check out this credit card." That CC belonged to a standard-issue 50ish guy named Dick Beater. That moment still helps me.

If you're trying to ditch NYT Games, which you should be since their games singlehandedly prop up the entire dogshit rag financially, you should switch to Puzzmo. An annual sub is 50% off today for a crazy $19 and as a bonus doesn't enable the genocides of Palestinians and trans people
Puzzmo — The (new) place for thoughtful puzzles.
Re-imagined mainstays like the daily Crossword Puzzle, modern classics like Really Bad Chess and SpellTower, and even a few brand new puzzles.

The holiday season is upon us, and you know what that means for all the computer-touchers in the room: being asked to fix smart devices you've never seen before by relatives you see once a year, then having your competency and education questioned when you can't fix whatever bizarre issue they have.

I've got a lot of criticisms with Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) as someone who was in the program for basically my entire childhood/teenage years, but it's wild to see an org as fundamentally conservative as that not getting hit with the same pressures as a UK equivalent.
Hard to read this and not feel a flare of righteous fury at the absolute cruelty that underpins the anti-trans movement.

Just diabolical to force a tiny number of girls and young women out because you've let your twitter algorithm convince you they're dangerous.

The game was falsely removed weeks ago, just after launching, which has severely impacted the studio's survivability.

One of the great joys of GMing any TTRPG is when a player comes up with a use for one of their abilities that's so out there the entire table is doing the below image so you give it to 'em with advantage.
