When I first started working in homelessness, this picture was printed out and tacked to my message board, left to me by the previous occupant. She later told me she knew I'd need it. She wasn't wrong. It didn't fix things, but it did remind me that I wasn't the only one struggling with the suck.

I think in my six years active duty, I only met two or three servicemembers whose entire reason for serving was patriotism.
Also, I'm willing to bet no Musk has ever died defending anything.
