Two weeks ago this guy announced he was providing legal help to the agent who shot Renee Good. That's how quickly the winds are shifting.

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.

Message to fellow journalists (and anyone claiming to be one): do not “police-involved shooting” executions in broad daylight.

Obfuscating language like that is completely journalistically unnecessary and, even worse, sanitizes reality.

Words have meaning. Use the right ones.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

This is wrong.
The CPP Investment Board says it will be calling for child safety safeguards but doesn't seem embarrassed by the ongoing MechaHitler stuff or Grok's appalling owner. Wish my pension savings weren't going to build a fossil gas powered data centre to serve it!
Grok, the gas-powered deepfake-generating "anti-woke" chatbot that used to refer to itself as "MechaHitler," attracted a substantial investment from Canadians' pensions.

Soaring utility costs and rising power demand are recalibrating the financial outlook for the United States non-residential solar market.

This argument is brilliant in its clarity and simplicity. The Group 1 and Group 2 comparison at the end is the best single framing of these issues I have seen. Not new, but admirably clear and understandable.

For @msnownews.bsky.social, I wrote an article about how ICE Watch is grounded in sociological theories of violence prevention.

The reality is that most men will only commit public violence in extremely specific scenarios and ICE Watch disrupts the conditions necessary for escalation.

Research into how violence occurs shows that disapproval from the people around you can help reduce it.
