Get profit out of healthcare period. Create a single payer system like Taiwan did in 1995. There should be no health insurance aside from this--basically a Medicare-for-all without the insurer Advantage program. Taiwanese rate their care very highly.

No corporations, LLCs, etc. should be allowed to own single family homes. Only legal residents should be allowed to own a home up to 3 homes per person max (so could be a personal investment but not at a large scale).

We need strict nonprofit rules too so this cannot happen and there should be a hard salary/compensation cap for executives of $300k but actual compensation would be computed via a formula largely based on median income of non-executives, size/complexity of org, required education/experience, etc.

Trump's big, ugly budget megabill gave ICE more cops than the FBI, more jails than the federal Bureau of Prisons, and a larger budget than most countries' militaries. Once the bill is fully implemented, nowhere in America will be safe from Trump's secret police state.

Paul Ingrassia, Trump’s nominee to lead the office investigating Jack Smith, has recently been investigated for harassing a colleague, Politico reports.

“Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him..”

In late July, Paul Ingrassia, the White House liaison for the Department of Homeland Security, arrived at a Ritz-Carlton in Orlando with a lower-ranking female colleague and others from their department. When the group reached the front desk, the woman learned she didn't have a hotel room.
Ingrassia then informed her that she would be staying with him, according to five administration officials familiar with the episode. Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him, three of those officials said.
