While I understand wanting to do something, this won't work. Asking for an extension means people due money won't get it& those who owe money will have to pay interest on what they owe.
Also, they don't need your tax dollars. The reason the country is in debt is bc taxes don't bring in enough money.

Yes. Our lanes, if we are decent people, must include the heinous events of our time. These force us to comment if we have any kind of platform, or we’re pretending to be oblivious. I’d rather talk books (even my own), baseball, poetry, cocktails, travel. Can’t. Or, not only such things.
For anyone out there who wishes I would stay in my lane: I would LOVE a world in which I can just post about old Columbo episodes and Ross Macdonald novels and the history of best supporting actress and my next book. I just need several conditions to be met first. Let us work toward them together!
