One thing I would like to know tho... is the actual reason of my hypotonia... I know that I have it, tho I learned of it rather late in life since my mom decided to omit that information till I asked about my hyperflexibility and how often I'd injured my joints.
At least I've been lucky and not gotten injured again in weeks, fucking hypotonia making me so injury prone, but at least I got some advice to strengthen my elbow joints since I've been doing heavier lifts.

Man... exercising for me is legit such a pain in the arse.

Imagine that you have to actively work hard to not pass out from jogging thanks to the mix of blood pressure problems and asthma.

Yeah, let what is happening to Discord radicalize you against the encroaching of puritan fascism we are seeing in laws world wide.

The US, Canada and a good chunk of the EU like Spain are looking into making laws that will actively do the same for a more expansive area of the internet.
A very good point. While calling out corporations is important, our government is trying to force av laws like KOSA and SCREEN on EVERYONE under the guise of "protecting kids". Call your reps + tell them to OPPOSE these bad bills. #SaveSpeech #Stopageverification #StopKOSA

As many warned, the age-verification laws were deeply flawed and were doomed to fail from the beginning. Consumers hate them. They're easy to get around. The internet is global.

But rather than rethink the plan, they forced it through. Rather than rethink it, they're doubling down.

A conservative Utah lawmaker is trying to raise taxes on people who consume porn.

HB73 would force Utahns to pay a special 7% tax — on top of sales tax — for every fan site subscription, camming tip, clip download or other purchase of "material harmful to minors."

A bill introduced in the Utah State Legislature would impose a new tax on pornographic websites, while a separate piece of legislation closes a tax loophole on streaming services.

The failure of age-verification laws is now turning into a War on VPNs. The British government and a number of US states are now proposing that VPNs be banned entirely, or only accessible to those who have surrendered to facial scans, ID check and other identity verification.

VPN bans and other privacy restrictions aren't incidental to authoritarianism, they're a a critical component in their formation.

We told you they will eventually use porn as a platform to go further, but y'all were too outraged by the mildest edgy EU artsy game like horses to pay attention to the way the wind was flowing.
TN is considering a new bill that allows parents to sue large platforms that allow "material harmful to minors"— including sculpture, drawings, photos, music or video games— that describe or depict nudity, sex or "excessive violence"

The censorship that started with "porn" is coming for everything.

I want motherfuckers to understand, if KOSA passes and Section 230 gets repealed, this will be the norm for online existence, these people will determine what websites can exist, can accounts in social media can exist.

Think about and understand what this shit is so important to fight against.

There’s a lot of misinformation floating around touting a Section 230 repeal as the way to go to reign in Big Tech.

This is not only untrue but a huge threat to social media platforms and the broader internet as we know it.
Congressional lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are gearing up for #Section230 repeal, but this could mean an end to social media as we know it.

A tale as old as time, corpos take advantage and exploit them for money, then after years of using them the pull the puritan move of saying how they don't believe that sex work should exist and that they will pivot away from it.

Any corpo doing this deserves bankruptcy.
heads up MANYVIDS BUYERS there is an impending forced mass exodus of NSFW creators as the CEO, who has profited off sex workers for years by taking 40% of their income, has decided that sex work shouldn’t exist. If this is your main site, it’s time to look for alternatives. 😕

Important: While the Utah bill is framed around porn taxes, the actual letter of the bill discusses “material harmful to minors.” So this could start as a porn tax, and if Utah defines LGBT content as “harmful to minors,” balloon into something so much bigger. As is the case with this genre of bills

#Section230 is why our internet is open to LGBTQ+ youths who are surviving abusive homes. Shame on those who call its repeal "accountability" when it's actually about silencing marginalized voices. Without it, platforms would drown in frivolous lawsuits designed to erase queer existence.
We’re now entering the 30th anniversary of Section 230 and there’s a bipartisan effort to repeal it- which will mean free speech no more for the internet.

We’ll be getting into it this week- for now, get those phones ready to fire up and call your reps: www.whatissection230.org

Let's see, what would this lead to?
-A censoring apparatus that the fash are more than willing to use against marginalized communities and to suppress dissent.
-A gold mine for identity theft
-The erasure of resources for kids in dangerous situations
aclu.org ACLU @aclu.org · Jan 12
Attempts throughout history to limit kids' access to jazz music, comic books, and movies deemed "harmful" have violated the First Amendment and failed to actually protect children.

Now, Congress and state legislatures are running the same playbook to restrict social media access.
Online Safety Bills Are Fueling a New Wave of Internet Censorship
State and federal bills seek to limit minors’ access to social media, but civil liberties advocates warn that the resulting online censorship threatens constitutional rights without delivering real safety.

That Grok still has payment processing, when everyone I know — artist or gamer or adult creator —lives in constant fear of deplatforming and debanking over the mere hint of impropriety, is utterly mind-blowing.
Some Grok users, mostly men, began to demand to see bruising on the bodies of the women, and for blood to be added to the images. Requests to show women tied up and gagged were instantly granted.
