One of my former clubs tried to have a protected lane removed and thank goodness failed. I couldn’t understand the “but what about our club sprint point?” Comms. The sprint that is used for exactly 1 min every Saturday.

A plausibly runnable route from former scene-center City Center to Southtown Center’s fabric store to the former Rainbow Foods/Party City at the Quarry is approximately marathon distance, roughly following the directions provided in @TheHoldSteady’s Southtown Girls.

I’ve viewed this moment as we are living a collective trauma again without acknowledging or coping the most recent (COVID) collective trauma. Lead poisoning though…That gives me a lot to think about.

There was that one race where the INEOs guy (may have been Ian Stannard) beat 2 Quickstep riders in one of the early one day races. Today’s race was such a tactical failure for Jumbo
