My friend and I went to #NoKings in Scranton today. I had my frog hat and a bag full of tiny frogs to hand out. Saw some really fun signs and even some people I've seen at other protests. I had a chance to tell Mary that I posted about her. That made her happy.

I'm still mad that I get no dopamine rush from going to the gym. I need to go for my health, but it is the most boring, intolerable use of time when I could be doing something interesting instead of getting sweaty and sore. I truly envy those people who get a high out of exercise.

I'm in a froggy mood so I did a really deep cut for tonight's Trek B-movie. Adam Roarke played Garrison in the TOS pilot and he played a drunken spoiled bully in "Frogs" from 1972. The movie had Sam Elliott, sans mustache, in his first lead role. The movie was so-so. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The CGI in Python may not have been the best, but I can't be the only person who thinks that Wil Wheaton really rocked that pink hair color.

Empire of the Ants is next. Joan Collins, Robert Lansing, Robert Pine, and one of the stuntmen from Star Trek, Billy Hank Hooker, are in it. I've seen it before and got a kick out of it. It's especially fun watching Sgt. Getraer being a complete jerk.

Not sure how I feel about Moontrap from 1989. Walter Koenig and Bruce Campbell are astronauts who go to the moon to fight aliens who want to take over the planet. It had potential. But seriously, you meet a cryo-frozen woman on the moon and have sex with her in your emergency pod?

I didn’t hate it? It has a certain charm. Quaid is only really in the last fifteen-ish minutes so it seems like they should have marketed it with Heigl since she’s the main character. Of course, at this point in her career she wasn’t a big name so I understand why they made Quaid the ‘draw’.

My next pick for Trek actor B-movies is Bug Buster from 1998. It has George Takei, James Doohan, and Doug Jones. It’s a Randy Quaid movie about a pest control guy who has to stop an infestation of mutant bugs. It even has Bernie Kopell and a young Katherine Heigl.
