if you are a cis person it costs you nothing to just say today that you see & hear your trans sisters & brothers & others over in the UK today -- and around the world, too, knowing that rulings like today's ripple out in ugly ways.

Having lived in northern Florida, FL01 is not a moderate district. It’s just not.
It was Gaetz’s district, it’s the Panhandle, there’s a documentary about how crazy folks are.

A 22% swing in 5 months is a tsunami.

Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

“One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, ‘I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.’ I believed him. *** He “began to whimper,” as his head was roughly shaved, “folding his hands in prayer as his hair fell.” He “asked for his mother & cried as he was slapped again.”

They start with trans folks and Free Palestine campus protestors and move on to anyone else they don’t like to make it so that everyone is too afraid to speak out. We can’t let this happen to anyone.
Fuck this.

They’re gonna be arresting all of us soon.
NEW: White House says the arrest and deportation of student activist & legal US resident, Mahmoud Khalil, is a blueprint for more.

The final line here is chilling. The White House specifically says Khalil was not breaking the law.

No evidence, no due process, no crime. He was just disappeared.

in hindsight the NYT anti-trans crusade is one of the most despicable things that any big time journalism outfit in this country has ever done. a perfect and clearly intentional layup for the fascists on the Supreme Court

I take Nurtec (preventive) and Ubrelvy as a rescue. I don’t really feel tired from Nurtec but if I do have a headache and take Ubrelvy, I feel utterly exhausted for 1-2 days after.
Sending you lots of love! I’m so very sorry for your loss.

Well worth getting an Apple subscription for a month in September just to watch all 4 seasons.
