The media is eager to paint the semiconductor chip shortages for automakers, as a dispute between China and the Dutch. We have been here before during the pandemic. Biden decided to invest in US CHIP manufacturing. Trump decided to claw back that investment. Not based on science, based on politics.

Democratic elected officials & pundits LOVE to tell voters to put "X, Y, Z" behind them and "move on." This means that they never, ever, ever address X, Y, Z. This is a significant reason the country is where it is. For ex, Obama came in saying "we're not looking back" and man was that wrong.

instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

The deceptively named ‘medicare advantage’ plans are NOT MEDICARE, I repeat, not Medicare. If you are 65, the age to enter Medicare, these plans are a scam!! This is managed care through insurance companies & should never carry the word Medicare. Half the elderly have been suckered into buying them

This is called missing the plot, and it will earn you an INSTANT block.

Indivisible, MoveOn, Our Revolution and more have tonight launched a plan to tank any candidate not calling for Schumer’s removal over this.

Get with the program. We all know who caved. We all know what this is.

Momentum builds for new leadership!
Now is the time to fight, not surrender. 🗣️

Schumer must step down from his post as minority leader and allow for new leadership to emerge—someone who is willing to consistently fight for the American people.
Progressive group MoveOn calls on Schumer to step aside
"Inexplicably, some Senate Democrats, under Leader Schumer's watch, decided to surrender."

UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

Either party, one question.
What did the majority of Americans reap out of this budget? It is a total looser. Just like the majority.
However they are all in bed with the billionaire, so it was self serving.

The 8 who "broke" did so with the complete blessing of Schumer and their colleagues. You don't have to play along because this is not a game. The end
