Provide communication and conflict management support for disaster operations; I believe that climate change is real, that kindness and civility are not incompatible with truth and courage, and that the Red Sox need better defense.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Right-wing pundits defending the Minnesota murders by saying, "If you don't provoke ICE by observing them, they won't kill you! What's so hard about that?" are akin to someone saying, "If you don't make your abusive partner angry, they won't hit you! What's so hard about that?"

Local media can succeed despite headwinds, but it needs to be present for the community when it is really needed, as many MPLS newsrooms are.
The reporting I've seen from @startribune.com over the last few days is a great endorsement of the need for quality local journalism, which is suffering from fiscal setbacks across the country.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

Graham may get away with it as long as he didn't also accept the Nobel Peace Prize.
Of everything in here, the thing that’s going to get Lindsay Graham in trouble with the President is at the very end.
A number of senior Republicans felt alarmed and exasperated by President Trump’s efforts to overturn the presidential election, transcripts of secret grand jury testimony from the Georgia election interference case against Trump and his allies recently obtained by The New York Times show.

Whose adventures?
It’s a scandal that they haven’t given us a The Shield legacy sequel about his adventures as an ICE agent riding the MAGA wave back into the higher echelons of violence and corruption.

Not important. More important is that they know this.
If the Patriots get one more TD, they'll finish with 45. It'd be their high point for scoring this season.

A lot depends on what you regard as a problem or threat.
As it seeks to end birthright citizenship, the Trump administration is arguing that immigrants bring problems that extend for generations. The data shows otherwise.

Dude, it's a worthy quest. Write on.
The entire point of everything I write is to keep Derrick White in Boston.
Trade Machine says this is the winner; Simmons +D White for Trae Young +Pels unprotected 2026 Pick in loaded draft. Young has player option 2026 year so an opt out sign and trade is available. Celtics stay in lux tax. Trae has career revival 2025-26. Celtics get into playoff make some noise.

Maybe they don't want to and we can't make them?
Has anyone written a coherent, good-faith argument *against* a ban on stock trading by members of Congress, or in favor of the status quo? What is the argument lawmakers use when explaining why they don't want a vote on the matter? Having trouble finding.
