Microwaving is the best way to cook corn. It steams in the husk w/o boiling away sugars, the silk slides off w/o having to be picked off in strands & anyone watching is impressed AF.

Amazing and beautiful that they delivered 500 Thanksgiving meals to home bound people and served a thousand more in person.
Tragic that these 1,500 people needed to be given a Thanksgiving meal.
And this was just ONE volunteer group!

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, yams, string beans, macaroni & cheese, a roll and potato salad.
And that's just what we packaged in each meal! People were up all night cooking and the camaraderie among all the hard working volunteers was inspirational.

This morning we were honored to help this amazing organization and their generous volunteers package up a few hundred Thanksgiving meals. They're delivering 500 prepared meals for elderly in a nearby high rise AND they'll be serving meals to another THOUSAND people in person today.
