My health has gotten bad enough to the point where even coming on here to boost is a workload too much for me, physically and mentally. As I now have to take the time off work at the worst possible moment, I truly need community to come through with donations.
What I had been dreading has arrived, and while I do have a few positive things going for me atm, all of that will be destroyed should I get evicted.

i was actually shocked to see the numbers on new research from Global Energy Monitor on new gas projects in the US: nearly 100 gigawatts of power—enough to power tens of millions of homes—are currently in development explicitly to power data centers. At the end of 2023 that number was 4 gigawatts
