Utter madness. No direct reference to fossil fuels in the draft #COP30 agreement 🤯

The 1,600+ fossil fuel lobbyists have done their job.

We now need a major nation to honestly confront the crisis, break Big Oil’s deadly grip on our politics - and show what’s possible. #NEB2025

The right wing elite are ruthless in protecting their own and getting what they want.
They wanted Johnson. (And what a disaster that was for us).
Now they want Farage. (Would be an off the scale catastrophe for the country).
Time we woke up to the betrayal.

As climate change melts ice, stored mercury pollution may be released, contaminating fish + shellfish. Mercury pollution is a feature throughout the life cycle of fossil fuels - a risk during extraction, from abandoned pipelines + from burning oil, gas + coal.

📝 A recent letter to the UK government highlights the risks posed to children by #ToxicChemicals in toys.

⚠️ Children are at higher risk from the health impacts of endocrine disrupting chemicals (#EDCs) because their organs and nervous system are still developing.
