I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.

As an art teacher I was worried AI would come up as an issue of "why should I learn how to draw when I can use AI instead."

But the real issue is that my middle schoolers CONSTANTLY believe all art I show them is AI. Digital art. Photography. Oil paintings from the Western canon. "A human couldn't do that"

Being convinced that humans can't make great art is kind of terrifying

I've gotten several emails today asking for steam keys for my game.

All likely scams, but the funny thing is how easy they are to spot because they don't even attempt to talk about the game itself -- just insert its name into an obvious template that gets sent to just-released games.

The whole game takes a couple hours to beat (more if you go for the achievements) -- perfect as a distraction while we wait for Kirby Air Riders to come out 😉

It also has full gamepad support. In fact it's highly recommend to play that way, but not necessary.

Made one more "biggish" update to the Critter Drifters demo today (mostly just small tweaks to level geometry). Probably the last one aside from a few more tweaks to non-demo levels for the full release. Only two more weeks!
