I've been spending a few days developing photos from Anthrocon, and unfortunately, the negatives are not what I wanted to see. Due to a mixture of poor equipment and largely a lack of sleep, many of the scans come out as horrible blurry messes. I even managed to double-expose an important reel

I had a colleague at work announce needing a day off from work on Yom Kippur, he has a German surname, he's from NJ, and he has a little plush toy holding a star of David at his desk, AND was wearing a hillel shirt around the office and my work friend (bless her) did not figure it out.

If I so much as uncased my AR without it being pointed down range, I'd feel embarassed, not to mention this asshole has a mag in, closed bolt (so no way to show clear) and no breach flag, AND his finger inside the trigger guard. Embarrassing behavior.

Even in a city as Jewish as mine, I just make every attempt to not be publicly seen as being Jewish because shit like this happens. I just cannot trust every gentile I'll walk past in a given day to be normal about it

1) my synagogue openly calls for an end to the genocide in Gaza, and it doesn't stop of us from receiving threats and requiring security.

2) "just don't go to the only synagogue(s) in your location on Yom Kippur" is a ridiculous ask of observant Jews.
