Entirely fair. I say soft-fascism because I think it's still in that transitory stage of erosion of democracy and introduction of fascistic norms to society at large, but I can see the argument for it already being full on fascist. I think it'll get there pretty quickly regardless.

This convinces him that he should run for reelection despite being deeply unpopular and 81 years old. Then he gets forced to drop out because he's obviously too old to run, leaving Harris with 3.5 months to run a presidential campaign. How else was this going to go?

He gets pushed through to the top by the Democratic machine because of lack of options and ends up thinking he's God's gift to the country. It was reported that he thought Dems did well in 2022 because of him and his moderate stance on abortion, not because an individual right had been taken away

Biden's ego is insane. He got selected as VP to be the token white conservative coded guy for Obama after multiple failed presidential bids, then got pushed through the 2020 primary to stop Bernie and BARELY managed to squeeze out a general win because of a pandemic

It's a few things. Anti-est sentiment bc of said establishment not doing enough for the working class (Harris losing earners btwn 40k-100k, but winning over those w 100k+) paired with a kneecapped campaign bc Biden wanted a 2nd term at 81 (couldnt differentiate from an unpopular president, etc)
