💯. We treated enemy combatants - who may have been very recently trying to violently kill us - with a level of restraint and professionalism that appears to be beyond the imagination of a federal law enforcement organization handling non-violent American citizens.
So I always like to go "What would have happened had a Marine done this in Afghanistan" and it's so obvious in this case as to make the exercise moot.

There is nothing that should piss you off more than the President demeaning the memory of all those allied soldiers who fought and died next to us after 9/11. Without even us asking, they joined us.
Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."

As a combat veteran myself, I’m opposed to the idea of military members being spit on when they return from a tour overseas but any attack on Greenland and our NATO allies is so clearly an illegal order that it might be justified for those military members who obey.
