Apple Music, I think a good feature for your phone app could be if when someone hits the “search” button that took them to a place they could search for music, instead of a list of categories and another “no, I mean search” click.

None of you understand, the president literally poops gold. America is in so much trouble that he has to be pooping constantly. For the economy. All the time. In every meeting. None of you appreciate the incredible work he’s doing.

No that the US is out of WHO people are going to start catching consumption.

Couldn’t be me though, I know there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism.

I know I’m not the first person to say it but the hyper commercialization of the Grinch story is pretty sad and a perfect illustration of the ability of capital to absorb critiques painlessly

Something that really broke my brain was learning that bombs, being made of chemicals, expire after a while.

So if you’ve spent millions on bombs and they’re starting to get a bit old you either have to find someone to drop them on or have wasted that money.
It does boggle the mind how politicians claim we don’t have enough money to feed the hungry, house the unhoused, or provide healthcare, but there is always money for bombs.

Inasmuch as the Trump admin has any consistent tactical approach to policy, I think they just get up in the morning and say to themselves, what’s the most evil, destructive, and stupid thing I could do today? Then they do it. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/16/u...

I continue to be amazed to the extent to which Paul Verhoeven predicted the *feel* of the new American corporate Fascism.
In Robocop and Starship Troopers (also Total Recall) especially he catches this combination of cruelty, excessive self-belief and dumb stupidity exactly.
