Is there a reason that the “balanced bbc” isn’t reporting this phenomenal govt expenditure?

It’s almost (exactly) as if this is one of the things “immigrants” is distracting from.

Exactly this. Trump could have put the same pressure on Netanyahu months ago.

We now know that any time he wanted Donald Trump could have rung Benjamin Netanyahu and ordered him to stop the destruction of Gaza. He chose not to. Imposing a peace at the barrel of a gun after laying waste does not deserve a Nobel prize.

'They've destroyed everything': Palestinians return to devastation in Gaza City
Those returning say they are driven by desperation rather than confidence that it is safe.

Most people seem to have missed who retweeted this picture of Farage in Gill’s office a few days after Gill began receiving his first bribes from Oleh Voloshyn (Oleg Voloshin). None other than…

Pedalling Russian propaganda is not patriotism.

“Here Farage is, in Gill’s office, with Voloshyn’s wife Nadia, on the day Gill makes an intervention on behalf of Medvedchuk’s channels, with an employee of one of those channels, whose husband started bribing Gill to make these statements 6 days earlier”

'Stunned?' Farage's Admission He Knew Nathan Gill but Not His Kremlin Associates Does Not Stand Up to Scrutiny
Insiders have told Byline Times, it is 'inconceivable' the Reform Leader did not know about his close aide's pro Russian statements

Have you watched any of “The Hack”?

The Guardian thinking all other newspapers would be all over their scoop, but… silence

🚨Urgent: Thames Water want permission from Ofwat to ILLEGALLY pollute rivers and seas until 2040.

🤮They want your bills to fill their pockets with gold, while they fill your rivers with sewage.

✍️Sign now. Tell Ofwat to say NO to Thames Water before Tuesday 21st October.

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.

Prison is the place for those two, if they don’t pay up (or even if they do!)

But presumably MedPro had some sort of limited liability insurance to cover such eventualities?
Wouldn’t you do that for such huge sums?

Glad to help.
Everyone’s brain works differently doesn’t it? (A good thing too…)
And probably Google works differently again!

Your secret is safe with me ☺️

Either that or you’re telling me “shut up now, ffs, Caz, enough already” 🤣🤣😘

Sorry…🫣

I think I’m explaining it badly!

2 < 100

Small end by small number
Big end by bigger number
drcj.bsky.social
So that’s why I’m not a teacher!

Butting in here… (morning 👋)

The pointy (smaller) bit goes next to the smaller number, the wide bit goes next to the bigger number.

So <100 means 100 is bigger than the number you’re thinking of.

Is that even more confusing?

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

And subbing private train companies, people are subbing water companies, the govt was subbing energy companies (here, have some money towards your energy bill so that energy companies can increase their profit)
It’s just goes on….
Rarely questioned.

I suppose it depends on what benefits?
Because benefits may include things like free nursery/child care? idk. And it seems reasonable that you'd get that if you are working.
But you shouldn't need universal credit. That's just the state subbing the companies.
drcj.bsky.social
Me neither, it doesn't seem possible to raise it now though, because (many) businesses aren't making enough money for that. Seems the only fair thing would be to increase tax on the (ultra) rich, and decrease it on low earners.
drcj.bsky.social
Absolutely that.
How can people have any sort of life on minimal wage?
I don’t personally think minimum wage level salaries should attract any tax. Otherwise minimum wage should be higher.
