What is the percentage of journalists who are allowed to be pro trans human rights and pro Palestinian liberation and are still able to make a living?
If any journalist wants to talk to a trans man with a PhD in Human Genomics who was trained in labs that studied the evolution of sex, I'm right here

Or just keep platforming Republicans who have a 5th grade understanding of biology so they get more trans people killed, sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

if you tell me i have to abandon trans people in any way i'm simply not going to take you seriously. you're not someone i listen to. your opinion stops mattering immediately. i don't do what bigots tell me to do.

It’s really embarrassing how much certain Democrats are trying to assist the right in enacting Project 2025’s plans to censor the internet and banish abortion access info, sex ed, LGBTQ people, and much more under the guise of “protecting the kids,” who will of course be further harmed by this

Need i remind you they could've squashed the entire anti-trans movement with the ERA, but instead they stalled it until it expired and then lost the house. They wanted to have a carrot to hold in front of us.

If they had the republicans would've lost a wedge issue.

Am I wrong to think the democrats are purposely handing trump more power to scare the people into putting them back in charge? Where they'll, of course, drag their feet on fixing any of this?

I mean, they did kind of tea up both of his presidential terms after all. Hell, they practically threw 2024

The entire British government is taking orders from Israel
'PM Keir Starmer, ex-chief of the Crown Prosecution Service and the UK’s chief jailer, and senior ministers have alleged that protesters’ slogans such as ‘globalise the intifada’ and ‘from the river to the sea’ amount to a call for attacks on Jewish people.'

And importantly it’s not making anyone safer. It’s distracting from the actual Nazis and terrorists

Killing people is wrong, regardless of their religion. Killing kids is especially abhorrent. Calling out a genocide is standing up for what's right, and equating those protests to supporting the killing of others is false equivalence, an opportunistic attack by those who are morally compromised.

Linking the march across the bridge to the massacre is disgusting and everyone doing so should be deeply ashamed of their giving tacit support for genocide

“Love it or hate it it’s here to stay” is a crazy thing to keep saying about a technology. If people don’t like using something it doesn’t have to stay we’re not talking about bad weather here

Okay then homie. Walk it out for the class.

Why is trans rights not the hill to die on?

Why are they the ones you are willing to sacrifice, if you are supposedly pro-trans rights?

“You’re pro trans rights but come on.” Those are your words.

So come on and WHAT?!

Also, trans rights sit at the confluence of all things bodily autonomy, itself the root of all freedom.

If you can't control what is and isn't done to your body according to your own will, you're not free. Freedom of speech, of motion, of assembly, of association, etc. all require bodily autonomy.

It is the exact hill to die on. Even if a person were completely self-absorbed, it would still be the hill to die on. Because civil rights are civil rights and Republicans are trying to use this issue to make Dems look weak and distract from the fact that the Republican Party protects pedophiles.
Sorry but this is just not the hill to die on at the moment. Pro-trans rights here but come on guys…

I am journalist Nagham Karaja from Gaza.
My home and work were destroyed, and I was injured in my right leg. I am a mother of three children.
Today, I cannot secure another shelter amid this storm that flooded us.
I also need to undergo gallbladder removal surgery🙏🍉

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Nagham. Nagham is a journalist (if you click on her chuffed you can find links to some of her stories at the bottom), a very dangerous profession in Gaza. She has three children Amir, 9, Amjad, 7 and Ayla, 3. She also has an injury to her leg
