My father has Lewy Body Dementia. Getting him to follow instructions just to put on shoes or get in a car is a nightmare. He lives in memory care because he can't take care of himself in any way

He constantly tells me how he gets perfect scores on all his cognitive tests and shouldn't be there

I hosted 14 other local Chicago transmasc people for dinner at my place last night. A couple friends, but mostly random guys I met once out at queer events, or friends of friends I had never met before

My heart is so full. Everyone was just so amazing and kind and genuine. We all needed that 🥹
