In 5 seasons with us Mykolenko has 4 goals and 2 assists

His crossing is abysmal, moves frequently die when he receives, and wingers get so little help from him

Just for comparison, in his last 5 seasons, Leighton Baines scored 9 and got 27 assists

Tuned into Radio Merseyside last night prior to kick off, and one caller was rightly highlighting the lack of Saturday 3pm games - just the 3 so far, which is simply not right.
Being selfish, as a Blue living overseas, it denies many a chance to head over for games.

Heard McNeil getting stick for pulling out of a tackle, but Myko did the same on left flank at halfway line in second half. He’d either have been clear through or taken out, but pulled up rather than get clattered (by Rodon I think)

Still a lot to play for even though we keep frittering away chances at home. 3 off sixth, 4 off fifth, 5 off fourth. Might be musical chairs for the last European places but it’s right there in front of us.

This!
Part of the problem and the perceived atmosphere at Bramley Moore has been the lack of Saturday afternoon games. These Monday night games are fucking awful.

"I see the criticism and I don’t care. I like to prove people wrong," Thierno Barry told us after last night's equaliser v Leeds

Four goals in five PL games for him now & yet more signs he is finding his feet

Everton’s Thierno Barry says desire to ‘prove people wrong’ is fuelling his improved form
The 23-year-old's equaliser against Leeds on Monday was his fourth goal in five league games after not scoring this term until December.

100%. We might have sufficient central midfield strength as Armstrong and Rohl mature, Dibling and Barrie will get better.
We are what we are, not the finished product.
Full backs on both sides are the priority!

I would add lack of pace. Look at how quickly Leeds could get people forward to overload the box.

Adding flying full backs allows us to move to a 352, takes away the wing issue and lets us get Ndiaye more centrally towards goal. Even adding a Lwb an sticking with Patterson until the summer

It’s painfully obvious where our main weaknesses are:

Right Back - Patto
Left Back - Myko
Lack of reliable depth on the wings - McNeil / plus Dibling not yet
Depth at centre forward - only Thierno

Everywhere else has relatively decent depth unless I’m missing it?

Thierno Barry is now the joint-top scoring Barry in Everton history 🔵⚽️

Thierno Barry 5
Gareth Barry 5
Barry Horne 3
Barry Rees 2

(Thierno scored his five in 51 days, Gareth Barry netted five in 1,064 days)

I think I’d have taken that at start of season but plenty of missed opportunities to make it look a lot better … what do you reckon?

We are a good side away from home when we can stay tight and not be expected to control the game. At home we are lacking in quality and Moyes way of playing doesn’t encourage us to control the game.

Branthwaite made a huge difference when he came on. Look so assured on the ball and his distrbution was great. Dewsbury-Hall's intensity was fantastic especially after so long out.
McNeil and Mykolenko were pretty awful
