Starmer has chosen to mark it by... kicking off negotiations on how to water down our human rights 🤯

The ECHR protects all of us, so we should all be worried about changes that amount to "human rights... except for those people"
European nations to begin major talks on ECHR migration rule changes
The talks are the most significant sign yet that international human rights law could be reinterpreted.

I’ve got Jim Hacker, Humphrey Appleby and Bernard Woolley on the case.

I hope the Minister is feeling courageous.
You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

It’s going to be a shitshow, but I’ll take it.

I’m reading the DWM special on Terry Nation in a coffee shop. A guy behind me suddenly says “that takes me back! The Daleks!”

I’ve done my fannish duty of pointing him towards the iplayer so he can relive his childhood. He was around in 1964 so may have seen it.

I’ve enjoyed this and yes they should do some episodes on anarchism.
The first episode of our new season of Origin Story is now available to watch on YouTube 👉 youtu.be/RHPiU4dsZhc

This season it’s the story of socialism, from the earliest blueprints to the present day, Lenin to Labour, Marx to Mao, Gramsci to Gorbachev & Proudhon to Piketty.
