ok, i think my points are just as applicable with the framing of "the realization of these benefits is extremely uneven across the population and boiling it down to culture war + misunderstanding is missing the valid reasons that people might not share your rosy perspective on the (real) tech gains"

Monday morning, Austin Police Department helped ICE detain and kidnap a woman and her 5 year old daughter, who is a US Citizen. It’s now Friday and we still don’t know where this girl is. Abolishing ICE is the only reasonable move
