My 8 year old felt lied to because it was called “Bluish” but other than the opening song/dance to introduce the players and the “dance mode” finale, it had very little to do with Bluey. I think she was expecting them to do bits from the show. But she still had a decent time.

8 year old wasn’t a huge fan but my 3 year old LOVED it! We were feeding him lines for the audience suggestions and he was shouting out everything. He even got to go up on stage and play a game of Simon Says

The troupe was made up of two 5th or 6th grade boys, both of their mothers, and 4 seasoned improv performers and all of the adults spent most of their time trying to give hints to the kids on what to riff on. Instead of “yes, and…” is was more “um, no..”

I found a local improv theater that does Bluey themed improv shows for kids, featuring a cast of kids and adults, on Sunday afternoons. I’m taking my kids this afternoon I’m so pumped. I hope they like it
