Out on Lake Phalen tonight
Wolves have 23 assists at the end of the first half.

They had 17 total against the Clippers.

The franchise record is 43.

That was beautiful offense predicated on moving and sharing the ball.

Where has this Wolves team been?!
February 10, 2026 at 2:04 AM
Ooooooh Dosunmo is speedy!

Perfect situational sub for Clark who can come and make his only focus slowing a player in rhythm.

Two straight misses with Clark on him.

Did not have prime CJ McCollum showing up for this game on my bingo card. 16pts on 7/8 shooting.

Wolves offensive process has been much better with a good mix of ball movement and attacking. A lot less isolation or settling for jumpers.

There is a potential 5-alarm fire going on with Finch and his development of drafted players:

Notable drafted players in the Finch/Connelly era:

2022: Wendell Moore, Minnott
2023: Jaylen Clark
2024: Dillingham and TJ Shannon

Chicken or egg: Are they all non-NBA players or are they being let down?
"We can mess up here. It’s not, 'if we lose, we die'"

Rob Dillingham says the freedom to play through mistakes is helping boost his confidence

That's a big philosophical change in how the Bulls have approached player development in the past few years

Will the Bulls let their new young players run free or will they stick to the win now vets they brought in at the trade deadline?

Honestly, what are we doing? It’s a b2b and you are playing your starters deep into a game that was over six minutes ago.

Gobert subbing back in with six minutes left is a reckless and dumb decision.

The only good things from today's game (for those of you who luckily aren't watching):

1. Ayo Dosunmu looks really good
2. Ant had a sweet dunk on Brook Lopez

So I’m curious what that ‘accountability’ Finchy talked about looks like on this squad?!

Well, might have been the worst offensive half of the season.

Go get some smelling salts and coffee at halftime and wake up or they’ll find themselves on the wrong end of a blowout.

After the slow start, Wolves played with a lot more effort, just missed some open looks.

Match Jaden’s minutes with Kawhi and you should be alright.

Ayo with a good first stint thus far - definitely being deferential, but you can see the skill set.

Happy Ayo Dosunmo day to those that celebrate!

Since I missed most the game last night, watching back from the time we got an 18pt lead:

1st possession on defense, Ant leaves Bey wide open from 3 on a basic drive and kick (Jaden gets his 4th foul on the loose rebound) and immediately Rudy taps Ant on the chest and implores him to get out there.
More Gobert: "No one should get a pass for not playing defense, you know? ... We play for a championship. If we’re tired, we should ask for a sub. And if you have the energy to play, you should put the effort (in)."
Rudy Gobert: "Just no effort. We've seen that many times ... since I've been here. We always know it's coming. When it comes there's no sense of urgency, no accountability. I think at some point if players don't have accountability someone has to have accountability for the players.

Missed most of the game so just watching the end here - but some of these defensive rotations for the Pelicans are awesome. Can tell they really want this one

There isn’t another player in the league that more deserves the storybook ending of winning a championship and riding off into the sunset.

Also… *gets ready to duck* he shouldn’t see the floor unless there is an injury or guys are resting.

His perfect seat is right next to Joe Ingles!
Free agent guard Mike Conley Jr. plans to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell ESPN. The sides are working on timing of him re-signing. Conley was traded twice this week – to Chicago, then to Charlotte – before being released and allowed to rejoin the Wolves.

Had a lot of fun last night optimistically celebrating the Ayo Dosunmo trade and a victory 22 years in the making in Toronto!

Ayo’s projected fit 🗣️
Ant’s clutch time masterpiece 🎟️
Bones thriving in his biggest opportunity of the season 🦴
Gobert’s perfectly imperfect brand of winning basketball 🚀

Elevator pitch:

Speedy NAW with a higher offensive ceiling and lower defensive floor.
My view: Ayo Dosunmu is the perfect fit for the Wolves. Better than any other role player option out there, including Coby White. His defense, shooting and ability play with pace should really help the Wolves.

The incoming Conley/Ingles/Slowmo bench mob is going to go so crazy. Like a shit talking nursing home
February 5, 2026 at 3:39 PM
Absolutely love this deal as the Wolves set themselves up to keep Dosunmu longterm.

He’s set up to be NAW 2.0 - instant effort and energy, 37.7% career 3pt shooter (45% this season), and while his defensive metrics are down this year, his best seasons mirror NAW, and he’ll get the Gobert bump

A+
This offseason, the Wolves will be $8.3 million under the luxury tax. They could increase that to $13.7 million by trading their first round pick and declining Julian Phillips team option

They could spend that entire amount on a MLE player and then re-sign Dosunmu and Clark as well
February 5, 2026 at 4:08 PM
Awesome. Immediate 7th man. Will do a deep dive tonight, but really feels like the NAW archetype this team has been missing!
Just in: The Chicago Bulls have traded Ayo Dosunmu to the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell ESPN.
