Normally don’t do this, but the Twin Cities are occupied and there are a lot of folks I know who are helping people with very acute needs. I know a lot of good folks out there have offered to help or want to know how they can help, so I may occasionally boost fundraisers for folk or causes I trust.

A real irony is that the left & true 1A believers on the right spent centuries defending the rights of dangerous scum to speak freely & now it seems they are the only ones with that right & they are gonna try to destroy everyone who defended their rights. In the future, this has to be examined.

Stop debating where fascism is here or whether elections will happen or won’t. They want us compliant and terrified. We are Americans and for all of our flaws, we aren’t a former Soviet republic or freshly out of a 50 year dictatorship. They can only beat us if we give up. The rest is distraction.

I’ve had the shittiest Americans at about 35-39% for a while. This is HUGE. 28% find Good’s murder was justified. This is a decent sign the rats are rubbing from the nest. Not dispositive. But a decent sign. This feels like Bush 2.0’s support falling.

Im curious if anyone has a chart or something that shows how much benefit people will lose based on income and family size. Many of us likely know people about to lose at least a month of SNAP benefits. They are gonna need support.

Thats the thing. At some point, our energy is better spent planning for how we reverse this.
I find I can’t muster a proper response to either the Tylenol madness or the U.N. appearance. At some point it is just too ridiculous. It would feel insane to offer sane commentary.

This is where I know I lean towards being a moderate. You have to proportionately punish bad behavior and evil doing regardless of who is doing it. Coddling it only allows it to keep wedging its way back in until suddenly the bad over powers the good/neutral.
I've a thought I can't quite articulate, but it's something like: how do you rebuild the system when this regime falls- as it will, eventually - when the thing you need to rebuild is adherence to law, the very adherence to which will prevent you from fixing the things these people broke.

For years people have been yelling at me about how the FCC has to get those crooks at Fox off the air and that there’s no risks of such power being abused or used by people they don‘t like because that’s slippery slope nonsense.
