He’s one of the oddest folds to me. For some reason, granted this is like 8 years ago, I thought he’d be part of a core group of GOP Senators that would stand up to Trump. Then he, as you say, just started sucking him off.
I was just talking with someone else here. He said he probably agrees with 70-80% of their platform. Same for me. But so many of them are in it for the game not the reality of democracy.
And when people like you do catch their tail and get power evil follows right behind you. Because at the end of the day, like a Trumper - everything is made up and based on your ego. Democracy isn’t Burger King.
This is what I can’t stand about leftist edgelords . At the end of the day you’re just inches away from being a Trumper. The biggest difference is your fine with kind gestures. But you don’t really want to win. You don’t want real change. You want to fight and yell and scream.
Oh man. I do discuss work online. But I can tell you that they do. And even when they don’t control everything, they could care less about the law when it suits their specific purpose.
They are really not much different than Trumpers in the end. Tunnel vision with selective and highly limited facts. Biggest difference is at least they prefer kindness. But I don’t even think they care that much more about vulnerable humans on a global scale.
I see it at work and in the end when they have power do they actually punish people who do real wrong? No. They let stuff go like you would not believe. It’s insane. They aren’t fit to lead. Platforms vs getting down to leading are two different things.
Yeah. I have never felt more like an independent than I do today. The absolutists have no plan to win. They don’t want to win. They don’t even get what winning is in a modern society. They lie to themselves that their pure unicorn candidate exists and 1/
Dude straight up has a reflex to ask anyone with an accent if they were from the US. Didn’t matter if the man was a cop. It’s like muscle memory for his 7 IQs.
It’s funny as bad as it is, all it takes is the Rogan types and a few others to find reason to totally turn on him and they will shift. They just can’t now because of pride.
We definitely discussed it over at the old place. I know some of these people are actually decent people. It’s like they have a fever. I just thought it would lift by now.
I’m not absolving him of what he’s done that helped bring us Trumpism. But why would he lie about the whoops? I can’t come up with an upside to him. It would be much easier and more lucrative to double down and act like this is fine, no?
