"Jobs don't exist anymore" is a phrase I've repeated to myself a lot. No idea what the hell most of you do all day but if someone is paying you to do it, hold on for dear life, because if it goes away it feels like it's probably not coming back. Either that or I'm just particularly unemployable.
“Stella why do you put up with x or y” what would you like me to do man. I was unemployed for 18 of the last 36 months. Jobs don’t exist anymore. We take what we can get now, warts and all.

A gorgeous, paperback artbook that collects many of CLAMP's official illustrations, COLOR KURO is now available in print!
CLAMP’s official artbook COLOR KURO is a gorgeous collection of a life’s work
2025 has seen a very interesting collaboration between two of the major US publishers! Yen Press and Kodansha team up to bring CLAMP fans two artbooks that complete each other: COLOR KURO and COLOR SHIRO, meaning "black" and "white" in Japanese, respectively, for the first time in English! COLOR SHIRO will be released under the Kodansha label, while its counterpart…

Every trans person who says they'd rather not be socially murdered is an "activist."

Every blood-mouthed ghoul demanding our eradication is a "concerned citizen just asking questions."
God I'm so sick of how "Activist" is used to un-person trans people.

There's an essay in me about this very topic. How minorities get the label of activist shoved onto them for simply asking to respected as human beings, is annoying at best and dehumanizing at worst.

I have a goofy picture and say dumb things on here, but this is serious.

If a book comes out with a character you love, and you don't like the book, don't pick up the next issue. It's that simple.

DO NOT harass a creator for doing their job.

A reminder that the median book deal for a debut author in the UK is £7000, paid over 12-18 months. (from 2022 Society of Authors report). Some of your favourite writers are struggling. societyofauthors.org/2022/12/06/a....

Viola Fletcher, the oldest living survivor of the 1921 Tulsa race massacre, has died. She was 111.

"I have lived through the massacre every day. Our country may forget this history, but I cannot," she told Congress in 2021.

Geoff Bennett has more.

We now know 60% to 70% of MAGA accounts were coming from bot farms outside the U.S.

That means every time you or I argued/engaged with a MAGA account, the odds were worse than a coin flip we were dealing with a bot.

Same goes for our politicians (and President) any time they promoted a MAGA post.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

When the sales drop, please remember that!

If you read and enjoyed Real Hero Shit, or Tell No Tales, or any of my other books, leave a nice review somewhere! Not only is it nice, it helps sell the book!
For graphic novels, especially adult genre fiction, it's incredibly helpful to review it online, talk about it, recommend it to a friend—adult fiction in the graphic novel space is difficult to place, and nothing convinces readers that they'll like a book more than the personal testimonial.
