98% of the time I don't feel like a Proper Adult (whatever the heck one of those is), but my genuine enthusiasm about finally getting a dehumidifier (just delivered!) for my flat suggests there might be hope yet...

Today is my fifth autism #diagnosiversary, so I baked these to take into work... chocolate brainies.
Finally getting my diagnosis in one sense changed nothing - I'm still the same person I was before - but the relief, acceptance and validation I immediately felt were immense.

For Shabana Mahmood to attack some of the most cruelly treated people in the world as having won a "golden ticket" because they manage to get to and claim asylum in Britain is unforgiveable.

I am deeply ashamed to be British at times like this. And feel so foolish at the optimism I initially felt when Labour won the last election.
