What have sex workers and free speech advocates been saying about age check laws and policies re: adult material and how they will lead to anti-queer discrimination? 🤔

Did you really think that Trumpster would allow anything incriminating him or his favored right-wing donor kings to be released?

Just assume he's in it up to his neck and take it from there.

I wish I could say that there was any other reason but censorship for the bipartisan effort to repeal Section 230.
Democrats want to censor critics on the Left seems like the cynical answer.

David Roberts is describing himself and explaining why he can be so-so on the environment (and actually good if it doesn't involve political policy) because he really believes in his principles, but also think that Democrats care about the environment.

He's been socialized to trust Democrats.

Wow. I never thought I’d see the day…

Almost makes me regret years ago teaching my dog that “Romney” meant “do your business” on walks.
Kudos to Mitt Romney, whom we exposed for his "47 Percent" comments, for coming to the conclusion that "we have reached a point where any mix of solutions to our nation’s economic problems is going to involve the wealthiest Americans contributing more."

Vietnam era soldiers were also murderers and war criminals.

The whole myth of the Vietnam Veteran, as created by Hollywood in the late 1970s and which dominated 1980s fiction, was designed to valorize the soldiers as tragic heroes despite the atrocities they committed.

Hey, willful neglect is a trait of abuse & psychologically registers as such. Delay, deflection, & silence of repeatedly communicated needs & harm is a choice. One of many ways that fascism continues to be enforced against BIPOC folks is via willful neglect. 😶

The Australian authorities are blaming "ISIS" for the Bondi Beach mass shooting.

This is an interesting claim, but if true it should be noted that ISIS was greatly empowered by Western intervention in Syria and is essentially a US/Israeli surrogate.

In her famous meltdown, former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz said that Holocaust education had failed because young American Jews associated the IDF with the Nazis and the Palestinians with the Jewish victims of the Holocaust.

That sounds like a success, doesn't it? 🤔

The way the tech industry is driving the car, the need for a job replacement plan is paramount to any intent to "protect work."

The only way to protect work is for the worker to throw the boss out of the shop and take control of his own workplace.

A universal living income protects workers.
New article from me in response to Eduardo Porter's article in The Guardian where he built a straw man of universal basic income to light on fire again, just as he did back in 2016, showing he's learned nothing new about UBI in a decade but is still happy to opine about it.

I can not cannot say enough negative things about @pelosi.house.gov ( or Pelosi 2.0 @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social ) but one that needs to be understood is that she didn’t 「 lead 」 any impeachments against trump she blocked actual leaders like Tlaib from impeaching him
Speaker Emerita @pelosi.house.gov implied to @usatoday.com that she doesn’t see a reason to impeach President Trump for his actions to date in 2025.

Despite him far surpassing Watergate in his brazen emolumental corruption, maladministration at USAID & DOE, or directing DoJ to prosecute opponents.
