Unfortunately it wasn't simple-minded and it didn't cater to idiots - but our PM is one of the very few people in the world who understand what has happened over the past year and are in a position to influence it.

They need all protestors to be paid operatives because they cannot abide the possibility that somewhere in the world, people sincerely believe in standing up for others. It isn’t enough that they’ve chased all moral virtue from their own hearts. They want a world where no virtue exists in anyone.

Where are the discussions about invoking the 25th Amendment? Where are the cabinet members and senators confronting this dangerous reality? Are these cowards and sycophants going to just stand by if and when he pursues war with Europe?

Something anecdotal - but heard from a friend who I thought leaned somewhat “right” today, she told me that she would do anything to make it stop, to end Trump — she wants the chaos to end.
