I literally, actually factually do not know why you would MAKE a Stranger Things season 5 if it wasn’t going to be at least PARTIALLY about clearing Eddie’s name. Utterly shameful, dude. They aren’t even sad about it!

When you go look up a movie you haven’t seen before and the plot synopsis reads like a series of disconnected events you KNOW it’s gonna be killer

i think the inability to tell the difference between "i don't like it" and "i don't like it so i have to figure out a way to imply this thing i don't like is morally evil" is the most fundie thing i see people who are aren't technically fundie regularly do these days

A project that seemed to come from nowhere— super excited about it.
"In a world that hates adventurers, you adventure anyway."

Omios Ures press release for @rascal.news!

When thinking of a term/genre that encapsulates Omios Ures, "post-heroic" fits like a glove.

It’s also self-selection. The trend for the last decade+ is “I need to know I’ll like the movie before I see it.” Which means better post-theater reviews. You’re much more likely to go along with a friend putting on a movie you’re so-so on at home than you are to be dragged to the theater.
Oh my god. She's 1000% right. This makes so much sense.

I have said before and will say again that it is such a loss that we no longer get covers of this caliber for fantasy books.

This art is by Jean-Léon Huens. These covers are for the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander. They lit my imagination on fire as a kid.

Second episode of WELCOME TO DERRY has some of the nastiest horror I've seen on TV since Michael Pitt fed all those chunks of his own face to dogs on HANNIBAL.

Without a doubt Anaïs Mitchell.
I also need to know: I am fairly middle-of-the-road on Taylor Swift but someone I know called her the Greatest Living Lyricist. She is not.

Who is yours? Either the greatest or your favorite?
