Wild that Trump’s indifference surprises anyone. We tried to warn that he was bad news & would wreck the country, but ppl didn’t listen - 77.3m voted for him & 80m+ voted 3rd pty/stayed home for cheap groceries, Gaza etc. And now we’re stuck with him as he burns down the country and the world.

“Post-liberalism” means two things:

1) I like the fascism, but I don’t think of myself as the sort of person who’d be into something so uncouth.

2) The woke made me do it, but since everyone’s opposed to liberty now, why don’t we acknowledge that some races, genders, and religions are lesser.

Good. Iran and Egypt are more than welcome to stay home if they don’t like #LGBTQ people being treated as human beings.
Seattle will move forward with its World Cup “Pride Match” on June 26 despite objections from Iran and Egypt over the Pride branding. Both nations asked FIFA to intervene, but local organizers say the plans stand.

In an article by a self-proclaimed socialist defending a racist white woman, The Atlantic decided to prove the Horseshoe Theory correct
“Those of us on the left should be fighting to improve protections for workers of all races, and thereby for the betterment of people’s material conditions regardless of their views,” Arash Azizi argues:
Why the Cinnabon Story Doesn’t Make Me Happy
The left should be promoting working-class solidarity, not delighting in seeing workers summarily dismissed.

Almost no countries on earth - even authoritarian states - put up such high barriers to international visitors, except for the most repressive regimes like Turkmenistan and North Korea.

Either this is an attempt at distraction or the administration really wants to cut Americans off from the world.
It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

I feel like Microsoft’s products are all designed by people who have never had to use them to actually get work done. Nobody there should get to design an OS, word processor or spreadsheet without once experiencing the rage that comes from forced updates and reboots.

I think the thing about "rein in twitter" is basically that official state channels need to just give up on it and leave, and disinformation needs to be regulated more generally... I know it was fun, but it's not 2014 anymore guys.
It is now imperative to rein in Twitter and harden the EU against US covert influence operations. In all probability they will waging an information war against us just like Putin.

Sen. Bernie Moreno wants to ban dual citizenship, but in reality, other people having multiple nationalities is none of his business.

A bill that would ban Americans from having citizen rights abroad is about nationalist sentimentalism, not real-life issues.

I can’t believe how much of the Trump era is about solving problems that *don’t* exist while making all the problems that *do* exist, worse.

There is no one who thinks the biggest problem with air travel right now is not having an area to do pull-ups.
Duffy on what he's doing to improve the airport experience for travelers: "Maybe I want a workout area where people might get some blood flowing doing some pull ups or step ups in the airport."

The authoritarian takover of the state bureaucracy might not *sound* like a big deal. But SCOTUS giving Trump the ability to fire the federal government is a God-King power, and represents a failure of the American Revolution.

Of course they did. That’s because Trump supports #Russia and is probably in the Kremlin’s thrall. The U.S. has become a foe of #Europe and the West thanks to 160 million stupid Americans voting for Trump or enabling him by voting third-party or staying home.
