I do think we are in a good position regardless of how bleak things are. Many people have already become disillusioned with the political system, and many more just need a final push.

There is no "become." People need to stop fucking acting like this is something new. We're the country of slavery, genocide, and systemic oppression so vile that we literally inspired the Nazis. None of this is new, it's what we've always been. Accept it so you can fight it.
Every American should be ashamed of who we are and what we have become as a nation today. We have a long history of military misadventures and even crimes but the attacks we have been conducting on Venezuela are among the most wanton, egregious and least defensible acts we’ve ever conducted.
