Art is an important tool, nourishing the soul is good, & yes people actually going through hardships finding joy despite it all is beautiful, BUT if literally ALL you’re doing is JUST talking about joy & sharing pics, that’s like telling someone with a gun to their head to just smile & be positive.
"joy is an act of resistance" is not praxis and while im a firm believer that art is good for the soul even during hard times, you have got to be fucking real for a second and realize that drawing pictures is not gonna help someone who is being bombed by the US government
