I’m at my break point. With all the attacks on transgender humans of all ages. And then the societal worry about young white males (yes you - creepy as fuck Scott Galloway!) FFS. They grow up to be these guys - not even bending the knee - literally bending over to get fucked. I’m just so done.
Keep receipts of all the Republicans and powerful institutions defending Trump and bending the knee to him after the latest batch of Epstein emails reveal that this man partied with Epstein and young girls who were victims of rape and abuse.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

A deal has been reached to reopen the U.S. government through January, possibly ending a 40 day shutdown. It promises voting on ACA bill of Dems choosing by the end of the second week of December.

So to cap their horrible week, Senate Republicans refused a deal to reopen the government in exchange for just helping people with health insurance and now the president wants the Supreme Court to say he doesn’t have to obey the law and feed the hungry.
