Giants replacing former coach of the year winner Daboll with COY winner Harbaugh!
The Giants and new coach John Harbaugh have now agreed upon and finalized the five-year deal for Harbaugh to be the new coach, per The Insiders. Done and done.

First opening filled.

So really Ian has no info. Just the existence of Tomlin not having a job
Mike Tomlin now looms as a top HC candidate in 2027... if he wants to be; The Giants continue to work towards hiring John Harbaugh, which should be done today (for real, this time).

you know this guy is a FOR REAL photographer because he's telling the story of his brutal, unconditional arrest by federal goons and can't help but slip in a gear review
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Lynwen Brennan, new co-president of Lucasfilm, has been with the company longer than Dave Filoni.

She started in 1999 at ILM, later became the president of ILM and helped solidify it as the gold standard in visual effects globally.

Let's celebrate her promotion with Dave 👏

Very comprehensive piece but you could summarize it with:
2017-2021: bad injury luck at key positions comprised what made them good

2022-now: no QB and in a division where two teams got very lucky when picking theirs.
New column: A deep dive into the end of the Mike Tomlin era. Why was the second half less successful than the first? How can the Steelers fix what's gone wrong? What are the two paths they can take after his departure? And who profiles as a replacement? www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...
Barnwell: How did the Steelers end up here, and should they lean into a rebuild under a new coach?
Mike Tomlin and the Steelers have parted ways. But will Pittsburgh now change its roster-building approach under the next coach? And who should replace Tomlin?

No thanks. Stay in the mix so you don’t get the loser stink
Overall a great run by Mike Tomlin. Glad he was the Steelers' coach. Should've been over a year ago minimum, probably two or three. Now let's see a proper bottoming out and rebuild in God's image (by being bad enough to get a real QB)

Bad news for Steeler fans:
- no playoff win again (likely)
- still don’t have a QB

Good news:
- Aaron Rodgers will retire
- Mike Tomlin isn’t cooked yet, maybe

Steelers having their best defensive playoff games in over a decade and they happen to play the best defense in the league with a 42 yo QB. Yay

A pathetic playoff performance from the chargers offense. Hung their defense out to dry all game.

Khalil Mack, you have a free shot at the QB even if he pitches it and you don’t take it.
January 12, 2026 at 2:58 AM
Oweh playing well for the chargers makes me think there was harbaugh collusion involved in that trade
