Many of Yorkshire's most loved, visited and famous landscapes and places, including our reserves, are in National Parks.

We recently signed a letter alongside 170 other organsiations asking the Prime Minister not to weaken their protection.
We can’t afford to weaken National Park protections ⚠️

But there are rumours that some in Westminster want to remove the Protected Landscapes duty - the only real power to secure action for nature

We can't let 30 years of campaigning go down the drain

We've been granted a permissions hearing at the High Court for our legal challenge against Angela Raynor's assertion that the Planning & Infrastructure Bill 'will not reduce environmental protections', which we say was both untrue & unlawful.

Really lovely post from Jack about our trip out to Fleet Moss. In the wider world, #Peatlands don't always get the love they deserve, so it really makes us happy when someone just *gets* it...

It’s a seasonal pilgrimage for redstarts and flycatchers, especially on a warm Friday evening ☺️
My happy place on a Friday evening, summer by the Wharfe. Pair of redstart, several spotted flycatcher feeding young, blackcap and butterflies
Who’d have thought national park rangers would be frontline, leading a peaceful resistance, trying to shore up democracy and hold power to account

The struggle is real 😢
