Since the World Cup, NZF has done nothing to bring Ferns games home, and just twiddling their thumbs hoping that participation rates alone would mean more awareness. The Ferns programme has regressed, exposure is almost nil, with tonight’s performance the result of the above. Embarrassing. #AUSvNZL

every limitation, every danger, every implausible claim about LLM capabilities needs to be analyzed through that lense. they are language models, they are not capable of doing anything a language model can’t do, they don’t think or feel, they don’t know or dream, they create likely text responses.
Every prompt to chatbot software is “generate me some text.” If it generated you some text, it performed its function correctly. It never lies, it never wants anything, it’s text generating software that generates text.
Not wanting to disappoint you so much that it lies is the last quality I want in a computer.

OpenAI says they aren't liable for the suicide of a user their chat bot urged to kill himself because suicide is a violation of the TOS
Additionally, OpenAI argues its not liable because Raine, by using ChatGPT for self-harm, broke its terms of service

This is pretty funny. Why is The Guardian’s political editor endorsing “legitimate concerns” around migration and complaining Hanson is being distracted from trying to address them?
And further to this: what are the "legitimate concerns about the rate of overseas migration"???

Once again, the people who create and boost AI are fundamentally opposed to the concept of consent.

Notice how “accepting that others disagree” simply does not compute with these people. Resistance to their plagiarism/suicide advice apps is simply another math problem to solve.
But this keeps happening last time I posted about AI here too. This is not a permanent solution.

The LNP’s negative rhetoric around immigration, race, diversity, inclusion, women & climate change, the constant trend is of a political movement who is incapable, truly incapable of imagining how a diverse country like modern 🇦🇺 operates, it's not equipped for modern 🇦🇺 in any shape or form.

Surprise surprise surprise the trans kids that had puberty blockers prior to having HRT had better mental health outcomes than those trans kids who had to suffer the agony of experiencing the wrong puberty.

Every trans person will tell you they wish they had puberty blockers.

Matildas playing Friday evening. Prime time, very little other major sport on, (besides ALM Brisbane v Melb Victory) so of course the game is only on Paramount+, making it stupidly difficult to get the match on a TV at your average pub or venue.

So ... a dangerous abuser accuses his partner or ex-partner of a violent crime (this is common) & get the cops to charge her, usual delays until it's dropped/heard and now the govt will cut off the accused's entitlements, making her - & her children - wholly dependent on her abuser? Get out of it.
