One thread I didn't get to explore here is what leaving the US means for disabled people and people with chronic illnesses. I would love to see that piece, esp after hearing that despite the widely-held perception that disabled people are barred from immigrating to many countries, it's not accurate.

This is true. And the kinds of economic policies that try to give everyone more money always just make it worse.
You cannot have a functioning economy when so few people at the top hold so much of the nation’s wealth. It’s not sustainable.
