You had one person speak positively about the digital ID, and he probably thought he could be arrested if he didn't lie and say it's secure: India has a thriving industry around fraud, as a result of their digital ID being vulnerable to hacks.

It happens at smaller scales as well.

The guy in charge of IT at my school, a decade after my having left, was outed as a paedophile.

He seemed to have changed my school account password, so I had to go to his office, but I didn't put 2 + 2 together fully until I saw the article about his arrest.

Don't forget how many government officials and royals were friendly with Epstein.

Too true. The only way for platforms to get better is to end these online safety acts and take payment processors' power away from them, but I fear it's a losing battle.

This is 100% @ofcom.bsky.social's fault btw, since they were the ones that put pressure on the government for their new excessive, authoritarian powers, with the help of FOSI. They are responsible, along with Starmer's Labour, for the upcoming increase in fraud and stalking.

Getting way more emotionally invested in To Be Hero X than I thought I would.

Couldn't watch for two days, because those two days just got away from me, but I'm binge watching again now.

It's basically an anthology series, to a point, so each main character is getting like 2-3 episodes each.

Fine, but MEPs will NOT be exempt, and in fact will be the first to be subjected to the constant phone scans, during the test stage.
