A film I wrote and directed will be available to rent or purchase on Amazon starting December 13th! This has been years in the making and it feels awesome to finally have a place to show it to people.

When I got these shelves, I said I couldn't possibly fill the whole thing....not there yet but getting alarmingly close.

I feel like this is already the case for smaller theaters. Half the things I wanted to see this year were only in our local Regal for like two weeks and only had a wealth of showtimes in the first week.

As a result, I didn't see as many movies as I wanted to. If this is across the board...fuck
Netflix reportedly only wants to keep movies in theaters for 17 days after they buy Warner Bros

I feel like this is a joke.

I honestly don't know anything about the Duffers but this reads as a joke they'd tell people.
Details on the live-action 'Stranger Things' spinoff 📺

• Doesn't involve the Upside Down

• Has a completely different story, location, characters, and actors

• It's set in a different decade

• Duffer Bros are heavily involved

• A scene in the series finale hints at what it will be

I don't typically do lists these days but the best films I saw in 2025 were:

Sinners
Weapons
One Battle After Another
Wake Up Dead Man
Superman
28 Years Later
Thunderbolts
The Monkey
and Companion

Loved the Stranger Things finale. They stuck the landing.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

I find it funny the "_____ got plastic surgery and they don't even look like themselves anymore" criticism is only ever aimed at women because what the hell is this?

I've seen the same fucking headline about Stranger Things' having a low IMDB score like 500 times.

Who cares? Really like IMDB is the go-to for people who review things without watching or thinking about them. We've known this for YEARS.

So why all the repetition of this detail? Answer incoming.

We got a puppy. I will die for her.

I'm sure Fire and Ash is a lot of fun.

But I'll be honest, the runtime is keeping me out of the theater.

I love long movies but I have to be invested and the trailers for this did nothing for me....and I liked the last one a lot.

Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

The run that Rob Reiner went on between 1984 and 1992 is one of the most amazing hot streaks any director has ever had. Legendary stuff

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

It's kind of amazing that the only Knives Out movie to feature its title-song is the one named after a Beatles song.

That (at one point) probably would've been the most expensive one. Don't know if that's still the case but I find it interesting.

I posted this several days ago but wanted to make some small changes. So, here we go.

On the left is the very first cover I ever made for my book (about five or six years ago). On the right is what will probably be the final cover. Always keep improving.

I've been making chapter images for my book and I did not know that Photoshop files can get as big as they do.

By the time I was done, that one file was bigger than any of the applications I used to make it. Even Premiere maxes out at like 12-14 gigs (the application itself).

It's amazing that all these people failed upwards and probably thought "I figured it all out"...then they have to talk to real people and defend this shit and they just absolutely go to water.
GLASHEEN: Antifa is our primary concern right now. That's the most immediate violent threat we're facing

BENNIE THOMPSON: Where is antifa headquartered?

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

THOMPSON: What does that mean?

I don't know what to do with that information

Wake Up Dead Man was great. Would've been better in a theater.

I'm old enough to remember when they started playing commercials before trailers in theaters. People older than me were offended by it, I didn't think it was a big deal, but I should have listened. We should have held the line. I should have listened.

Look I LOVED Superman but this seems like it's 120% more my thing.

I love superheroes in space.
Look out. #Supergirl lands in theaters June 26.
