In case anyone was wondering, as I was, there does not appear to be a complete list of the films that were found in the initial search; however, there are three standouts mentioned in a later article:

- Ghost in the Shell
- Rumble Fish
- Eraserhead

More judges speak to the press (the NYT) about what a disaster the Supreme Court (specifically the shadow docket) has been - “incredibly demoralizing & troubling”; a “judicial crisis”; a “slap in the face to district courts.” www.nytimes.com/2025/10/11/u...

'little bitch dial' remains undefeated in allowing me to distinguish Roberts's voice from Alito's during oral argument livestreams

I was straining a few mins ago like 'I think that's Roberts. Or was it Alito? No, not bitchy enough'

then Alito did come on & I was like mmyep there's that bitch sound
audrelawdamercy.bsky.social
the sound of Alito banging on the bench is so annoying

as is the sound of his voice which, as I've said, sounds like someone turned up the little bitch dial on Roberts' voice

I’m supposed to believe both that trained and paid journalists couldn’t see through Project 2025 spin but also they’re the people best positioned to tell me what’s happening and how I should feel. Why? They failed at their jobs by their own admission.

SCOOP — Pennsylvania prosecutors were alerted to possible voting irregularities by one of MAGA's leading voices against voter fraud. A long paper trail shows Jack Posobiec has been living in Maryland but voting using his parents' PA address for years.

From @jsweetli.bsky.social, @slate.com + me:

A long paper trail shows that Jack Posobiec casts a ballot in one state and lives in another.

Okay, bud 🙄, the average ticket is around $6k, I doubt you’ll find many undocumented people there. This chud is just trying to get free entry via assignment. Also, what could go wrong at an event with a bunch of drunk fans whose expensive fun you’ll be interrupting?

First off, I doubt any of these phony wanna be cowboys has ventured into gang territory; secondly, why do they all sound like antagonists from an episode of Smiling Friends?

I’ve either been a short-term or long-term resident or frequent visitor of all these places. When ignorant (not pejorative) people ask me if it was safe/was I scared 🙃etc, I pull up the map in Snap and show them random clips of people living their normal happy lives.

Begging you to talk to every random you know who has been ignoring this - do not trust these people, do not let your kids be on a list, there are no good intentions here. The best case scenario is chaos and interference with your family; the worst is murdered kids. Also vaccines don’t cause autism.

Even if it’s not in this exact way, your information has most definitely been compromised by DOGE activities. The best time to put a security freeze on your credit was January 19, 2025; the second-best time is now.

The report “cites numerous disclosures from whistleblowers, including one who said a worst-case scenario could involve having to re-issue SSNs to everyone in the country.”
DOGE might be storing every American’s SSN on an insecure cloud server
DOGE can “directly manipulate” this information.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

It’s not any more or less coherent, but if you just read the words that are in all caps, you get the gist
failedstates.bsky.social
Yeah, it doesn’t. If I (for example) call for a general strike, you can just participate by not doing the thing like, you know, you just stop shopping at Target, etc. No names needed. If that’s too hard to understand, I guess there’s no helping you, or you’re intent on making bad-faith arguments.

There are dozens of community/labor organizations like the AFL-CIO, UFW, ACLU, Indivisible, UFW, IAF, SEIU, BLM, etc. Any combination of those (and other) orgs could join together to create the necessary coalition.

Posting a random album from my collection every day that I’m in the mood

Artist: Wet Leg
Album: Moisturizer

Come for: CPR
Stay for: u and me at home

#vinylcollection
A vinyl record sleeve for Wet Leg's Moisterizer on a wooden surface. The cover art shows two women sitting on a beige carpet in front of a light-colored wall. One woman, with long blonde hair, is sitting with her back turned, wearing jeans and a white shirt. The other woman, with long red hair, crouches on all fours, staring forward with an intense expression, wearing white shorts and knee-high socks with bold red and black text. A second piece of artwork, with abstract wavy white shapes against a pink and brown background, is partially tucked behind the sleeve. A vinyl record of Wet Leg's Moisterizer and its packaging are spread out on a wooden surface. The clear vinyl record sits on top of the main sleeve, which features the same cover art of two women on a carpet. A pink sticker is affixed to the protective sleeve, bearing text. To the left is a translucent insert printed with bright yellow text, likely lyrics or credits. To the right is another sleeve featuring an abstract, wavy white design on a pink and brown background.

Yeah, it definitely needs to be organized by a person/group with clout. Most likely, with a strong IRL and online presence, to reach the numbers that would be needed.

A general strike doesn’t require you to write your name down on a list or stop going to work (which is obviously not viable for many people); it can simply be a concentrated economic noncooperation.
