I know that many folks will think this a sign of weakness
it is required of Christians, even & especially when it feels like pulling teeth
God will have to reconcile me to folks like Charlie Kirk in heaven because it sure won't happen on earth, and that's all the more reason for me to pray

It's very nice to be experiencing another country's national day; I wonder if Norwegians would find July 4 as charming as I find May 17 (if, you know, the political climate were such to make that not a charged idea)

Someone tore my church's progress pride flag down today like 12 hours after it was put up. It was a teenager (we have him on camera). If we file a police report and they find him, he gets hit with a felony hate crime charge. I really wish we had restorative justice options.

OK but there is no option for what I really am: a chaos goblin who does BCP, missal and also recently rewrote some EOW prayers because they weren't contemporary enough for my 5pm service

I am increasingly becoming a committed "we have to totally cease segregating bathrooms by gender" partisan, in part because people on the "good side" keep coming up with very cool "solutions" like "let's do enforcement based on gender expression"
Why is this so difficult?
If they look, dress and act female go in the Ladies.
If they look, dress and act male go in the Gents.
What "equipment" is revealed in the privacy of the toilet cubicle is absolutely no-one else's business.
All they want is to pee and poo!

I am increasingly becoming a committed "we have to totally cease segregating bathrooms by gender" partisan, in part because people on the "good side" keep coming up with very cool "solutions" like "let's do enforcement based on gender expression"
