Trying to encourage use of the stripes in Comms at work. No luck yet, having to satisfy myself with wearing my stripes shirt instead.

A new all-electric double-decker Climate Stripes bus has started taking passengers around Reading today.
The bus shows the warming stripes for Reading back to the 1860s and will hopefully help start climate conversations amongst passengers.

Since (gratefully) getting paid to work in climate action, I have unexpectedly felt lonelier, and have had less energy to stay engaged with environmental current affairs.

I am again calling out the vacuous nature of declaring an area a National Park without plans, resources or management measures. This time following the report showing that over a thousand seals were drowned in fishing gear around the Blasket Islands.

I fear a great many journalists and even environmental orgs did not read the most recent IPCC report past the Summary for Policymakers. Here's why that is a big problem: that part of the report is the only one that is lobbied to hell and back by politicians. Saudi + US pushed CCS hype into it

On Friday, a whole mountain west of Glengarriff was burnt, with a wall of flames visible through the night for miles around.
